An email landed in our inbox this morning describing the protest currently being carried out by young Chinese feminist activist Xiao Meili. Xiao, whom some of you may remember as the lead actor in the Chinese version of the Vagina Monologues, is walking all the way from Beijing to the southern city of Guangzhou to protest against child abuse. She has already spent 4 months on the road and along the way has been collecting signatures, staging performances and handing information to local governments.
