Moka Bros has joined forces again with Swedish fitness powerhouses Heyrobics and HeyRunning. This Monday (May 12), they'll be hosting a Heyrobics session on the fourth floor Nali Patio rooftop. If it's anything like the last, expect power shots of smoothies to get the session started and deals at Moka Bros to replenish your energy afterwards. Spaces are limited to 50, so make sure to reserve at heyrobics.com.
The team has also launched an ongoing promotion for summer. Join any of the three HeyRunning sessions (May 3-June 29) and get 15 percent off your Moka Bros bill whenever you visit by showing your Camp membership card. We're a few days past May 3 already, so sign up quickly if you're looking to get the most out of the training.
Over on Banchang Hutong, Stephanie Rocard at Mao Mao Chong is always up to something new. Beyond an ever-growing list of cocktails, more food is on the horizon. On Sunday night, she was trying out mini-tarts like egg and coconut to be debuted as small bar snacks for the sweet-toothed or as a bit of sugar to cap off the brunch menu. It's always worth swinging by to check out what new creations, drink and food, the bar is turning out.
Wudaoying Hutong stunner Chi has a new dinner menu (RMB 260 per person) featuring dishes like an asparagus salad with olives and quail eggs and barbecued pork ribs with mushroom risotto. They're also well into their after-hours collaboration, HE, with Janes and Hooch. Stick around after dinner – or swing by – for cocktails by the speakeasy and a select menu of small snacks by the restaurant starting every night at 10pm.
