It turns out that the supposed ‘magnum opus’ of social media platforms in China is not as widespread as once thought. Apparently nine out of ten Sina weibo posts come from a user group of just ten million people (probably those people you see out on dates not making eye contact with each other because they’re too busy uploading pics of their cat in hot pants).
