This program is designed for leaders who want to play a role in shaping a global organization and guiding a multicultural team more effectively. The trainers will share knowledge and tools on how to develop a global mindset through the executive coaching process. It is believed that global corporations’ success deeply relies on leaders who possess a global mindset. Leaders equipped with a global mindset are better able to design viable business models in different global markets, and are capable of building effective multicultural teams and organizations to support business models and strategies. As a result, they are able to develop great organizational results in different global markets.

The key objectives of this program are to help participants develop a global mindset through the executive coaching process. Trainers will demonstrate how to develop a global mindset and how to build more effective global team. Participants will walk away with skills to more effectively lead in a multicultural business environment.

Meet the trainers:
Dr. Gary Ranker – Ranker has worked and lived on four continents as a CEO for Hallmark Cards and Textron companies. He also served as the Managing Director-Europe for Sales and Marketing across 10 European subsidiaries of Hallmark Cards. He brings a truly global mindset to his international practice, coaching the Chairmen, CEOs and other senior executives of Fortune 500 companies around the world. He is based in New York, and spends about three-quarters of his time travelling the world serving the needs of his global clients.

Ranker is one of the pioneers of the coaching profession, having been approached by General Electric in 1989 to be one of Jack Welch’s first change agents. He was charged with helping top managers to consider behavioral and management changes in style, which eventually became known as executive coaching.

He is cited by Forbes as being one of the top five executive coaches in the world, and London’s Financial Times described him as one of the 50 most important global thought leaders.

Donny Huang – Huang is founding managing partner of 4stones Cross-Cultural Consulting Group, a leading cross-cultural management and global leadership development firm in China.

Huang is actively helping executives and managers to become more effectively in ever globalized business environment through consulting, coaching, training, teaching and writing. He helps both international executives/managers and Chinese national executives/managers develop global leadership and cross-cultural competence, and contribute effectively to their organizations. He has consulted large Chinese national corporations such as Lenovo, Huawei Technology, ZTE Corporation as well as multinationals such Singapore Airline, Nike, the World Bank, Areva and Agilent. He is regarded as one of the top cross-cultural management specialists in China by Chinese media. In 2007, he is named one of top 50 HR People in China by a leading management magazine.

Huang is frequently quoted in and publishes over 30 articles in the Chinese business press, as well as contributing to “Managing Cultural Difference” (Six Edition) by Dr. Robert Moran, a book chapter in 2010 Pfeiffer Leadership Development Annual Book and co-authored the book "Global Mindset Leadership: Navigating US and China Business Culture," published in 2014.

Special guest speaker:
Yommei Yanagiba, President & CEO /Vice Chairman of the board of Yingda International leasing Co. (a joint venture between GE & State Grid of China), will share her experiences being coached by Dr. Gary Ranker.
