The First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, is to visit our great city. She'll be in China for one week from March 19 - 26, and will first spend a few days in Beijing before heading to Xi'an and Chengdu. While in Beijing she'll meet up with Peng Liyuan, wife of Xi Jinping, and visit schools highlighting education issues.
The China trip will be a family affair. The Obama's daughters, Malia and Sasha, as well as Mrs Obama's mother, Marian Robinson, will all be accompanying the First Lady on her trip.
If that wasn't enough, Michelle Obama will also be blogging about her trip. Check out how you can read her Chinese adventures here. Will she moan on about the pollution? Will she review The Local? We wait with bated breath,
Which Beijing landmarks would you suggest Mrs Obama take her daughters? The tourist trap that is Badaling? or shopping in Sanlitun?
