In case you haven’t checked it out yet, BBC’s Panorama was recently granted access to North Korea’s “free thought” academic university, where some 40 foreign lecturers teach the sons of some of the country’s most powerful men. Set up by a Korean-American Christian named Dr. James Chin-Kyung Kim (he opened a similar school in northern China) and largely paid for by the West, the university offers internet access and even study abroad options for the students whose motto is “First country, and then ourselves”.
