This article is a recollection of Rainbow Gao’s encounters with the legendary Chinese rock star He Yong. Rainbow is the owner and manager of popular Shanghai venue The Mansionand director of the electronic stage at Beijing’s Midi Music Festival and its upcoming counterpart in Suzhou.
