Dinner Honoring Jaime FlorCruz of CNN

6:00 – 8:30 PM,
Thursday, January 29, 2015

– Function Room 6A, Basement 1, China World Hotel

Those who call themselves China Hands may be proliferating, but few can draw on the experience of four decades in China. Arriving as a student leader in 1971, veteran journalist Jaime FlorCruz has worked on a farm, on a fishing boat and eventually as the bureau chief for CNN, giving him broad view of China through a period of massive social and economic upheaval.

On Jaime’s retirement, AmCham China is hosting a dinner with him to recognize his contribution to greater understanding of the China story and hear his reflections on living and reporting here. So don’t miss this opportunity to honor a true China Hand and find out more about how China has really changed during the period of reform and opening.
