A photographer from Zhejiang Daily has just released a series of photos depicting a strange recurring trend at the waiting lounge of an airport in Bangkok in Thailand, in which most Chinese were seen whiling their time away scrolling through electronic devices or playing games on their mobile phones. Meanwhile their foreign counterparts were seen reading books, talking or merely idling away. Hmmm. Could this be a valid point of sociological enquiry?
