NEEMIC showcased their latest F/W collection, titled 'Afternoon,' last Friday on a rooftop at Meridian Space. Creams, mocha and sesame popped against a slate-colored backdrop, in what was a selection of floor-length robes and coats, gowns, and silky tops. We're certain NEEMIC's fans will be thrilled that the newest collection is already available for purchase on their website.

If you're not already familiar with NEEMIC, you should know they're a designer brand, founded three years ago by Amihan Zemp and Hans Martin Galliker, committed to producing sustainable fashion. Their clothes are primarily made with organic fabrics and leftover materials and put together by local tailors.

This collection is wholeheartedly NEEMIC, with its lightness and softness. Headlining this season are mohair, alpaca, and silk, which drape beautifully on the wearer and evoke exactly what the title of the collection suggests: a carefree afternoon. We especially like the tent and flared silhouettes, but it's the oversized silk-lined coats that stole the show. That lining is ideal for bare arms (the alpalca should keep one warm enough, right?)
