Last month, China made the ludicrous decision to ban ALL UK cheese after inspecting one dairy that doesn’t even export to the Middle Kingdom. On June 5, China finally lifted the ban, to the gratitude of British cheese producers and also probably import-hungry Chinese citizens who didn’t appreciate the protectionist attempt to limit their dairy options to the domestic melamine-laced variety.
