Florentijn Hofman, the man behind the giant rubber duck that over-awed the petty humans of Hong Kong, Beijing, Keelung and other cities around the world, has graced Shanghai’s Century Park with his latest masterpiece: a giant pink cat. Comprised of Jiangnan bamboo and produced with the help of 3D printing technology, the Dutch artist’s new creation was inspired by a chance encounter with one of Shanghai’s stray cats in a local park.
