Shanghai Metro announced that trains on two more subway lines, 8 and 10, now showcase printed works by artists like Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso and Zhang Daqian. All paintings are accompanied by a description (in Chinese only) with more information on the works and are part of a larger campaign by the Shanghai Metro to bring culture closer to the city’s commuters who will probably be too busy looking at their phones to care.
