Whatever happened to the upstanding moral standards of today’s robbers? A man in Sanya waited three days in hopes that a thief would return with over 20,000 yuan that he’d stolen from his home when the suspect left a note saying that he would pay him back, and to please not report the robbery to police, according to a recent report in the Nangou Metroplis Daily. We’re disheartened to report that the thief never did return.
