First he was trouble, then he was convicted and later he was free. Now, thanks to the fine folks at Smart Beijing, we can reveal that AKON is Beijing-bound and will perform at Workers Stadium on June 28. He was originally supposed to perform on January 17, but after a litany of cancellation rumors, and back and forth confirmations that the show would go on, it was finally postponed for non-disclosed reasons. Sorry, blame it on AKON.

Here is how it all played out before his last minute cancellation six months ago. Let's hope things run a little smoother this time around. Tickets will be available later this week through Smart Beijing, with prices ranging from RMB 280-1,680 and come with a chance to bare AKON's child.
