China’s Aplus Capital has launched a RMB300 million (US$44 million) fund in Chengdu to invest in technology sector in Western China. Aplus will also set up a tech hub in Chengdu. The center, called Aplus Smart Manufacturing Center, will serve early-stage start-ups focusing on artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing and smart cities.
