Recently, a Weibo user posted this image of Chinese senior ladies square-dancing in Place du Louvre in France. The group dancing, or guangchangwu, is a favorite past time for middle-aged and retired women in China who find it a good way to keep fit and socialize. It’s also often seen as a nuisance to local residents who are exposed to the amplified music blaring along with the choreographed dancing on a nightly occurrence.
