An artist in Zhuzhou, Hunan province spent five days completing this tattoo portraying part of the famous Chinese painting “Along the River during the Qingming Festival” (清明上河圖). The original painting, attributed to artist Zhang Zeduan (1085-1145), captures scenery of life from the Song period in Henan and is one of China’s most renowned pieces of art. The tattoo measures 50 centimeters long and 38 centimeters wide and makes history look badass, or whatever.
