Less than 24 hours after an explosion at Bangkok’s Erawan Shrine killed 22 people, a second explosion hit the city this afternoon at around 1.30pm. 5 Chinese nationals have been confirmed by the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok in their latest statement to have died from the bombing, including 3 from the mainland and 2 from Hong Kong. More than 20 Chinese tourists were also injured in the bombing.
