It's confirmed, romantic hair rock legend Jon Bon Jovi will be playing Beijing on his first tour of China next month. We wrote about this last month when it was merely a glimmer in Mr. Jovi’s eye. The fun of his feathered hair comes the MasterCard Center on Thursday, September 17 (interestingly the same date and venue Robbie Williams was meant to play Beijing before he backed out).

Shanghai’s gig, which has been slated for over a month now, will be at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, with the rest of the tour taking him to Macau, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Seoul. There was thought for a little while that he would maybe avoid Beijing, due to recent crackdowns and other major acts canceling shows. As of now we are ok – Linkin Park still look set to play on Sunday evening – so take those leather pants to the cleaners, crimp that hair, and get excited about this rock icon.

Tickets for the concert go on sale at 2pm next Tuesday (Jul 28) on, and will run from RMB 480-3,880 (VIP). Read more about BJ doing BJ at the event listing here.
