The hot buzz words of today – think big data and analytics, social media marketing and globalization – speak to the importance of tracking, understanding and acquiring more sales both locally and globally. But identifying and understanding the customer behind the sale, however, is a topic that has been ignored and neglected.

In response, AmCham China and China Entrepreneurs present "How to Build Great Customer-Focused Companies," a program which will take on questions such as:

- How does a company reintegrate their customers into its business model, and what are some examples of successful integration?
- How can the topic of customer service excellence reemerge as something more deserving than a mere swipe on a cell phone or a quick read?
- How can a company make a customer feel actively included in a process, and that their satisfaction is of paramount importance in this new business environment?

Presenters from K1ND, an Ogilvy & Mather Company, and Rich Akers from Gung Ho Pizza will tackle these questions with personal business experiences and advice.
