Increasingly, businesses are finding the value of diversity in the workforce. Greater diversity can lead to better global competitiveness, decision making, innovation and a stronger sense of belonging among employees.
The AmCham China HR Forum invites you to participate in a panel discussion on diversity as a business imperative. The panel will focus on how to promote diversity in businesses and how to tackle the challenges diversity may bring, such as welcoming dissenting ideas.
Meet the panelists:
Patrick Rooney, Managing Director of AESC, is based in Hong Kong and leads the membership team for the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions. He also holds responsibility for AESC education programs for researchers and associates. Before joining the AESC in 2013, Patrick was an executive search consultant with a boutique firm in the higher education sector.
Vivian Liu is the head of HR at AWS China. She previously worked as Human Resources Director at VMware Information Technology and for Oracle as Senior HRBP Manager. She holds many years of experience in HR strategic leadership, mergers and acquisition, strategic HR management, diversity programs, performance management, employee retention and learning and organizational development.
Royce J. Hauw is a Partner of CTPartner’s Shanghai office. He serves the consulting and recruitment needs of many of the largest global consumer products and service companies, with functional expertise within the HR and operations practices.
