Tuesday is a normal day, it’s not a Monday, nor is it nearly the weekend or hump day. In fact, there’s one more hump to get over before you get to hump day. Fortunately, we live in an awesome city that never sleeps so we thought to compile Beijing’s best Tuesday happy hours and drink (or food) deals, or other great activities, because why the hell not.

Mao Mao Chong
Hutong and cocktail favorite Mao Mao Chong is not lacking in deals for your TGIT: their pizzas are only RMB 40 each all night long, an absolute steal.  If you need more of a reason to go, bartender Eric Liu was in the running for Beijing’s best bartenders in the Beijinger’s 2015 Reader Bar and Club Awards, and the bar won a prize for outstanding cocktails.

Slow Boat
Slow Boat Brewery has a great reason to pop into their hutong brewery on your way home from work on Tuesdays – every Tuesday selected brews are 2-for-1 between 7 and 10pm. Every week holds surprise offers, but generally there is one light, one medium, and one hoppy brew. There is something for everyone’s taste. And then there are the burgers …

Tired of drink deals ending before you even get off work? Then Más’ deal is for you: 2-for-1 specialty daiquiris all night long (starting at 6pm until closing at 1am – you really should be in bed by then if you want to be presentable on Wednesday, anyway). The offer includes classics like Shark Bite, Clásico, Port-au-Prince, and their own creations too.

Home Plate Bar-B-Que
Two Tuesdays a month Home Plate hosts a Boozy Bingo with awesome prizes for first and second place winners (we’ll give you a clue: alcohol). Bingo starts at 9pm, at the same time as their usual happy hour which runs until 11pm. Each round of Bingo costs RMB 5 per card, with a total of six rounds. Tried, tested, and messed on by the Beijinger staff. Next round is June 30.

The Local
If you’d rather be challenged on a Tuesday night, or have a bunch of competitive friends, the Local has just the right amount of that in their culturally-unbiased pub quiz which starts at 8pm every Tuesday. Each participating team gets a free jug of beer, and will enjoy happy hour prizes all night (RMB 10-20 off selected drinks). And we haven’t even mentioned all those prizes …

Q Mex
South Sanlitun Mexican favorite Q Mex has it’s pizzas on offer on Tuesdays – half price between 5pm and 2am. This means that their pizzas are priced from RMB 30. This is accompanied by live music, and a daily happy hour that runs until 9pm. For the Tuesday-night-partier who likes their pizza served with a dash of live music.

CuJu Moroccan Bistrot and Rummery
Every Tuesday a bottle of wine will get you a complementary appetizer at CuJu, famous for Badr Benjelloun’s creations. What better way to unwind with friends following a hectic Tuesday at work?
