Super and bowl. Two words that you would never think to put together but through the fine American tradition of hyperbole and sport has become to mean so much to so many (mostly Americans). For the rest of us, it's a time to look on in bafflement and perhaps an excuse to sneak in a few drinks before 8am, potentially derailing an entire day of Monday work in the process.

This year's competition, which takes place between the New England Patriots and the Philadephia Eagles in Minneapolis' Bank Stadium, will be no different. For all the early morning action, head to any of the Beijing venues below on Monday, Feb 5. The action kicks off at 6.30pm US Eastern Time, 7.30am Beijing time. In alphabetical order:

Home Plate hold their annual Home Plate Super Bowl extravaganza with free-flow Budweiser, mixed drinks, bloody mary's, screwdrivers, mimosas, as well as a huge American buffet breakfast (fluffy pancakes, maple bacon, and more). Joe's Bar & Kitchen
Joe's invite you to watch the big game plus Justin Timberlake’s halftime show at their Gongti-adjacent spot. Kerry Hotel
Kerry Hotel broadcast the game via large screens in their Centro bar featuring a full American buffet breakfast, unlimited Budweiser beer, fruit juices, interactive games, and lucky draws for NFL memorabilia. The Local
The Local hosts a limited viewing of this year's Super Bowl and while they do guarantee you a seat, we will not be taking reservations. Gongti's primo sports bar, VSports, hosts a Super Bowl party that promises a great view for every seat in the house given that they will be showing the action on not only two huge projection screens but also the 25 TVs dotted throughout the venue. Their breakfast buffet includes an egg station, breakfast sausages, ham, pancakes etc. There's also all-you-can-drink on craft beer, bloody mary's, house pours, soda, juices, and coffee.
