Researchers from China have unveiled the world’s first automated teller machine with facial recognition technology, Xinhua reports. The machine, designed and built by a team from Tsinghua University and Tzekwan Technology, was unveiled on Friday, and while researchers have long attempted to develop ATMs with inbuilt facial recognition features, this is the first fully functional one to be available on the market.
