Lugging in boxes of small change to make a purchase is kind of a dick move, but apparently it's not only reserved for those in the bus industry or the obscenely rich. A monk from the Xingjue Temple in Shanghai's Jinshan district recently asked to pay for 16 water heaters with stacks upon stacks of coins at a local mall, according to NetEase News. The coins, worth 223,840 yuan, weighed around 716 kilograms—equal to the weight of three adult oxen.
