May 20: Divas in Paradise Drag Show
Sashay your way over to W Hotel Beijing’s X25 Club for the Divas in Paradise Drag Show. This event will guarantee to shock, awe, and confuse your sexual identity with glamorous displays of gender-bending physique and sultry sing-song. We’re sure if you’re reading this that you know the deal, but this is the best drag show in the city and definitely worth attending. Along with singing and dancing with tunes supplied by DJ Panda Chief, there will photos on display from the magnificent Chris Johnson and new designs from fashion designer Mario. May 22: Shadowplay Presents Peter Van Hoesen
Shadowplay returns once again to provide an epic evening of fractured techno and art at Dada. This time they enlist the help of Belgian master Peter Van Hosen. From straight-up dancefloor jackin’ techno to advanced abstract electronica this progressive mind has the shizz to make you shake. They’ve also got a unique visual installation that explores the smirking rabbit face that has become an emblem of the capital’s street art scene. RMB 50. 10pm. Dada
May 22: Natural Flavor #Tribute to Biggie# Party
Get Down with this hypnotizing tribute to The Notorious B.I.G. where some of Beijing’s nastiest b boys and mixmasters will be throwing down a heroic party that celebrates the life and mind of this deceased legend. Featuring DJs Nasty Ray, Slow Dee, and a very special mystery guest. RMB 50. 10pm. Tango 1F
May 23: Discosmic Adventure
Get cosmic with some deep disco diamonds from long-time Migas resident DJ, Tobias Patrick. Currently slamming clubs down in Shanghai with solid gold tunes, catch him once again for a night you lunatics are sure to remember. RMB 50. 10pm. The Bar at Migas
