Northeast Chapter (Shenyang): Seminar on Effective Hiring
2:30 - 5:00 PM, Tuesday, May 12, 2015 - DoubleTree by Hilton Shenyang
The American Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the German Chamber of Commerce, cordially invites you to our HR Seminar on May 12 in Shenyang.
The AmCham China Business Climate Survey shows that hiring qualified employees is still considered as one of the top challenges in the Chinese business environment. An inefficient hiring process and poor individual judgement can lead to the hiring of an unqualified employee in a key position. A bad hire can impact staff turnover, costs and organizational performance.
This seminar is designed for hiring managers and others who are involved in the recruitment process. You will learn the key elements of an effective hiring process and how you eventually will become a successful recruiter.
This seminar addresses questions such as:
• Typical mistakes made during the hiring process and how to avoid them
• Where and how should you search for the right candidates
• What to look for in a candidate application
• How to correctly assess a candidate’s qualifications and experiences
• How to realize that a candidate might not tell the (whole) truth
• How to make sure that a candidate is really interested and motivated
• What should be done to win your candidate for your organization in this highly competitive labor market?
