Mai Bar staked its reputation as the go-to location for cocktail lovers in Gulou on the strength of owner Jeff Ji’s skill with spirits. Three years and two bars later, Ji holds court on Tuesday nights at his newest establishment, Xindong Lu’s pseudo-speakeasy Parlor.
