St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Monday this year. Instead of despairing over not being able to day-drink on the holiday proper, we should all be reveling in the fact that this gives us two full days of preparatory drinking.  

Start things off on Saturday, March 15 by heading to Jing-an Kerry Centre for their St. Paddy’s Day Shindig. This all-day party starts at noon  and features comedy by Butch Bradley, who reguarly performs his raucous humor on Comedy Central, and Bryon Murphy, an Irishman from Cork who will probably make fun of us all for celebrating a day that actual Irish people don’t really care too much about.  

Murphy’s Irish Stout will provide drinks, Big Bamboo will cater, and prizes will be given out throughout the day, with grand prizes for best costume, most outrageous hairstyle and greenest outfit.   

Tables start at RMB3,000 for 10 people and include 30 drinks, so stop by with a gaggle of friends and get your Irish on.
