On March 18th, 2015, AmCham China will hold, for the first time, the Chinese Government Affairs Committee (CGAC)’s Annual Government Affairs Conference at the Kempinski Hotel.
For many multinational companies operating in China, government affairs continues to play a strategic role in supporting business growth despite evolving priorities and changes to the nature of government affairs itself over the years. As the number of foreign businesses in China has increased and their operations have continued to expand throughout the country, government affairs as a profession has grown and matured.
The theme of the conference is “Wind beneath the Wings: Past and Future of Government Affairs (政府事务在中国:角色与价值)”. The conference will reflect on the evolution of government affairs in China over the past 20 years and will feature presentations, panel discussions, and lively interactions, focusing on the value of government affairs to business and the sharing of best practices by our profession’s most experienced and respected practitioners.
