Wondered what Beijing looked like from the air this Chinese New Year? Sploid posted an amazing aerial video of Chinese New Year’s fireworks, filmed from an airplane as it landed at Beijing Capital Airport at midnight on New Year’s Eve. Definitely worth a watch, check it out here.

It appears there was no shortage of fireworks in the Beijing skies that night, although that may be changing as the government battles air pollution, the Christian Science Monitor reports. PM2.5 levels in the skies skyrocketed during Chinese New Year, as a direct result of fireworks.
