Following the Great Guangdong Prostitution Bust of February 9, Harbin’s public security bureau on February 12 dispatched around 4,800 police officers to investigate 2,700 hotels, bath parlors and other venues hosting illegal activities. Some 1,600 vehicles were checked and over 2,700 people were inspected.
