Scream Queens II: Double screening of Brain Damage and Troll 2 (Oct 30)
Start your Halloween weekend at Más! Thursday Oct. 30th they have an amazing double screening of comedy-trash-horror film classics Brain Damage and Troll 2. It all starts at 9 pm, come early for their extreme happy hour, followed by a full night of special Halloween cocktails, shots and delicious popcorn!
Halloween Costume & Horror Movie Night at Beiluo Bread Bar (Oct 31)
Dress up for Halloween and come to Beiluo Bread Bar for a costume party with benefits! Prizes such as an iPhone 6 or a Rager Pie (pumpkin or pecan, you choose) will be given to the best dressed of night. There will also be classic horror movies and Halloween themed music all night long!
Halloween with the Black Eyeliner at Dada (Oct 31)
They’re baaaack! Black Eyeliner are set to once again conjure up some evil party spirits at Dada. Costumes are a must! The crazier the better! The night will start off with some tunes from the ghastly DJ Scabby, then OST (Hua Dong (华东) from Re-TROS) DJ Ozone, Compakt Dicks, The Count of Monte Disco, and Soundspade. It doesn’t get freakier than this.
Scream Queens II: Rockabilly Monster Mash at Más (Oct 31)
Más will be playing the Devil’s music all Halloween night. Lots of monster themed rockabilly, disco trash, garage rock and Italian horror film soundtracks to keep your mind and body feeling haunted till the bewitching hours of the early morning! Get your fill of special Halloween themed cocktails and shots made especially for the depraved!
Street Kids Present: House of Freaks Halloween Party at Migas (Oct 31)
This Halloween Street Kids will transform the Migas dance floor into a random, weird, trashy alien haunted house. If you have no idea what the freak that is just be prepared for the illest nightmare in Sanlitun with mutant barbie dolls everywhere wearing their baby suits. On the music side, there will be Shanghai’s badass DJ Jane Siesta, supported by Shack Up, Oshi, and Yauman.
Beijing Misfits Tribute Show at Temple Bar (Oct 1)
Go where eagles dare and experience the Beijing Misfits as they crawl out of their pinewood coffins to rock out at this Gulou party hole. There isn’t a better way to celebrate the spirit of all hallow’s eve than the macabre punk tradition of Misfits covers so make sure to get over and take full advantage of drink specials and the raunchy debauchery Temple Bar is famous for.
Haunted Housewerk Halloween Party at SIIF (Oct 31)
Head over to SIIF Bar for a night of disturbingly heavy bass music on Beijing’s most haunted dance floor. Featuring the monstrous DJ skills of Ted Dancin’, William Scratchner and Wired Audio gushing out an eclectic blend of dark and funky jams ranging from house and techno to UK Dubstep.
Mao-lloween at Slow Boat Taproom (Oct 31)
Party like it’s 1949 at the Slow Boat Brewery Taproom as they offer a free pitcher of brew for all Halloween revelers who come decked out in full Chairman Mao attire. They will reserve an ample supply of their famous Imperial Pumpkin Stout for the party.
Zombie Night at Mako Livehouse (Oct 31)
For those of you with a craving for brains make sure to stop by this epic Zombie themed bash at Mako Livehouse. There will be on location make up artists decking out guests in all of the essential zombie flare and enough live music and DJs to bring any deadbeat back from the grave.
Beijing Misfits, Guiguisuisui, and Secret Guests at XP (Nov 1)
Continue on with the Halloween spirit at XP for an encore performance from the Beijing Misfits and the death incarnate vibes of Guiguisuisui. It should be an unearthly evening of demented underground music at Beijing’s premier venue for everything raw and unholy.
